Drone Policy

Due to safety and privacy concerns for guests, employees, and property, the operation or use of unmanned aerial systems, or drones, is prohibited above or within any Vail Resorts owned or operated property, except as otherwise authorized with the written permission of the Resort for certain licensed, commercial purposes. This policy applies to drones used for recreation, filming or videotaping, as well as any drone used by media or journalists. This policy also extends to any drones launched outside Vail Resorts owned or operated property that then seek to cross into Vail Resorts owned or operated property.
